Client:
Our client is a multi-family office in NYC that manages a substantial amount of capital for a small number of families. They provide wide-ranging investment management and wealth management services to a sophisticated client base.
Opportunity:
They are seeking a Client Portfolio Associate based in NYC. The Associate will work closely with teammates in investment research, client management, and operations to help support and deliver a broad range of services to clients that are both investment management-related and wealth management- related. The Associate will also assist the client portfolio management team in interfacing directly with both clients and external advisors such as accountants, lawyers, and bankers.
Responsibilities:
- Support the client portfolio management team in providing integrated investment management and wealth planning advice
- Ongoing client relationship management, portfolio monitoring, and reporting
- Conducting investment portfolio analysis
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring investment plans across portfolios and asset classes
- Preparing client presentation materials and correspondence
- Assisting with general client management for existing and potential new clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a record of academic achievement and test scores
- Previous experience in a private banking, asset management, or multi-family office is a plus but not required
- An interest in financial markets and investing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self-starter comfortable working both collaboratively in small teams and independently while managing multiple projects under deadlines
