Job Summary
The Accounting Clerk will assist the accounting department with various tasks related to financial record-keeping and processing. This role requires a basic understanding of accounting principles.
We are a centralized accounting team that supports a group of Keller Williams Real Estate offices. You will be working with a team of highly skilled accountants and bookkeepers in a centralized location outside of the individual real estate offices. You have the support of the top operational leaders in the organization and room for earned advancement.
We are looking for an individual that possesses job-specific skills that minimally include experience in accurate banking and/or accounting services, computerized bookkeeping, clerical skills, and general computer experience, specifically in Microsoft and Google Suite. Experience in the real estate industry is optional but preferred.
The ideal candidate has excellent administrative skills, and is highly task and detail-oriented. The right person for this role is methodical, predictable, patient, accommodating, and demonstrates calm under pressure. This individual is an experienced, self-motivated team player with effective communication skills and an extraordinary ability to multi-task in a faced paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate also has moderate levels of sociability and flexibility.
Duties
- Perform data entry to record financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements/reports
- Process accounts receivable billing and payments
- Conduct credit analysis on customers
- Assist with journal entries and reconciliations
- Utilize financial software for accounting tasks
- Support the team with general accounting tasks
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with financial concepts and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in using financial software for accounting purposes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.63 - $24.04 per hour
