Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant/ Bookkeeper to join our team in various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software. Self Motivated and a team player. This role is essential for maintaining efficient office operations and ensuring accuracy across all functions of the business.

Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the team answering phones.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Perform account reconciliation tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of journal entries and assist with the management of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Process invoices for AP
  • Enter contracts
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including experience with balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Prosoft is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, clients and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
