###About us:
Pioneer is a growing trucking company dedicated to efficiency, safety, and excellent service. We are looking for a Payroll and Billing Clerk as well as someone to assist Dispatch Operations approx. 15 weeks per year when people take vacations as well as assist with Driver recruiting. This roll is critical in ensuring daily operations run seamlessly while protecting leadership’s time to focus on business growth.

###**Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics**
####**1. Payroll and Billing 65%
- Ensure drivers get paid accurately
- Maintain strong communications with drivers for smooth operations.
- Ensure loads are invoiced to customers in a timely manor and report when payment isn’t being to us in set days to pay.
####**2. Dispatch Operations & Load Management 30% approx. 15 weeks per year
- Book loads and negotiate rates to get our drivers back to Wisconsin.
- Fill in for dispatch team members during vacations and absences.
- Maintain strong communications with drivers for smooth operations.
- Assist in optimizing load planning & routing to maximize profitability.
**Success Metrics**
- Drivers paid correctly for minimal driver complaint.
- Accurately submit invoices to assure timely payment.
####**3. A/R Accounting
- Fill in for vacation 3-4 weeks per year
- Deposit incoming checks.
- Upload driver payroll to issue direct deposit from bank to drivers
**Must have Skills & Experience:**
✔ Experience in trucking/logistics operations✔ Strong organizational & multitasking skills.
✔ Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and team members.
✔ Tech-savvy – comfortable using dispatch software & social media for recruiting.
✔ Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle fast-paced environments.
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
➕ Experience in safety compliance and handling insurance claims.
➕ Previous experience in recruiting and hiring truck drivers.
➕ Knowledge of DOT regulations & trucking industry best practices.
