What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Coordinator position at PISTOLA Denim?
PISTOLA Denim is currently looking for an Import Private Label - Production Development Coordinator for bottoms. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sending out development packages to our factories/vendors. Track development charts, T & A calendar deadlines, fabric and trim approvals.
- Track, receive and log in Development and Proto samples. Ensure comments are sent out to factories/vendors from Tech/Wash in a timely manner.
- Enter/Issue/Maintain POs. Ensure any changes/requirements are updated for factory/vendor to adhere to and keep system data updated at all times.
- Coordinate and update development tracker data for cross-departmental reporting and proactively assist Production Managers on problem solving to meet deliverables to ensure company standards, quality expectations and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate samples with being able to work with our overseas offices and vendors.
- Follow up with factory/vendor to review ship dates of samples.
- Support product execution & work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Technical Design, Design, Merchandising, Production, and Operations.
- Assist in entering of details of the style master in ERP system.
- Assist to manage in making sure that costing is turned in on time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of apparel Import production experience is a must.
- Experience working with Private Label customers is a plus.
- Knowledge of denim, wash and garment dye.
- Knowledge of Excel and G-suite applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
