What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Pittsburgh Veterinary Cardiology?
Pittsburgh Veterinary Cardiology is a small, privately owned, cardiology practice looking for a veterinary assistant to join our amazing team. Although we reside within a large specialty practice, we consider ourselves a close knit group with an emphasis on a positive work/life balance.
We pride ourselves in taking the greatest care of not only our patients but our clients. Our team maintains strong relationships with our clients that are cultivated by helping them navigate the sometimes scary waters of diagnosed heart disease in their beloved pet. We primarily see outpatient appointments but we also perform cardiac surgeries such as pacemaker implantation, balloon valvuloplasty and PDA repair.
We are primarily based at the North Hills (807 Camp Horne Road) location, but employees may be scheduled our secondary location in Washington, PA based on the needs of the practice.
