Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Dental practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Monitor financial performance and budgeting, including billing, collections, and expense management
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and satisfaction
- Maintain electronic health records using systems such as Open Dental
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements in healthcare delivery
- Collaborate with insurance companies to manage claims processing and reimbursement
- Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to address concerns, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental office with management experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental industry practices
- Proficiency in financial management principles related to dental practices
- Familiarity with EHR systems such as Open Dental
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and dental providers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to ensure compliance within the practice
