Job Title: Finance Manager
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to Accounting Manager who will be responsible for Company Accounting and Financial Responsibilities.
The successful candidate will oversee the Finance department operations, setting goals and objectives for staff, and collaborate with a C.P.A. firm to monitor company finances.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, interpret, and review financial information to manage monthly closing process and reduce closing time.
- Prepare and present monthly financial package, including P&L and balance sheet.
- Complete sales, expense, and variance analysis, and predict future financial trends.
- Oversee journal entry preparation and account reconciliations, and apply cost accounting to set standard costs for products.
- Handle Inventory, A/P, A/R, and Payroll transactions, and compile and report key business metrics monthly.
- Prepare ROI for major capital investments, and lead annual budgeting and capital planning process.
- Supervise staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of expenses, journal entries, and monthly close.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience within the Retail or Manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Finance software and solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Experience handling 10M-30M in revenue preferred.
- MBA or CPA preferred, and prior leadership or supervisory experience beneficial.
Location: Onsite – Medford, MA or Walpole, NH (5 Days in office)
Salary: $80,000-$120,000 depending on leveling
