The HRBP will play a key role in supporting HR team and be a trusted resource for employees and leaders. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of HR functions and best practices and be capable of handling everything from administrative tasks such as opening reqs, writing job descriptions, to recruiting, performance management and employee relations. The HRBP will partner closely with leadership teams to ensure HR programs and initiatives are aligned with company objectives and culture. This position is 100% on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Development & Engagement: Assist managers in performance management helping to drive the annual performance appraisal process.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, handling inquiries and resolving issues related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns. Escalate or direct employees, as needed. Keeping detailed notes and records
- Recruiting: Follow recruiting process for exempt, non-exempt and direct labor employees, throughout the lifecycle of sourcing, interviewing, offer and onboarding.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Use HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, employee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators to drive decision-making. Support Affirmative Action in collecting data, analyzing themes, and managing talent tracking.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Administer and enforce company policies, updating as necessary to align with regulatory changes.
- Training & Development: Assist in the design and delivery of training programs. You will assist the HR team in facilitating trainings including preparing slide decks and presenting data as necessary.
- Administrative Support: Work with HR and business leaders to create and revise job descriptions and open job requisitions for new and backfilled roles. Complete paperwork necessary for payroll for new hires and employee changes.
- Onboarding: Prepare new hires for onboarding, work with managers to ensure for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver the tools needed for new-hire success.
- Support intern and co-op programs: Recruiting, attending job fairs, making offers, maintain relationships with schools etc.
