Job Description:
Our client in the Software industry is looking for a detail-oriented Vendor Management Specialist to join their team. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and vendors, managing third-party risk, supporting supplier onboarding and negotiations, and providing tactical support for RFPs and data analysis. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze data for sourcing events, review contracts, and assist in developing RFx documents, working closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Onboarding: Supervise and manage the complete vendor onboarding process, collaborating closely with internal teams and vendors. Act as the primary escalation contact.
- Third Party Risk Management: Ensure the timely and precise completion of intake forms by working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Support Sourcing Team: Aid in all aspects of supplier onboarding, tail-end spend, and material deal negotiations. Provide tactical support for RFPs and data analysis.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data necessary for successful sourcing events, including spend data, stakeholder requirements, budgets, supplier financials, market trends, and other project-specific information.
- Contract Review: Examine contractual and non-contractual documents. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to finalize agreements.
- RFx Development: Assist in creating Requests For Information (RFIs), Requests For Proposals (RFPs), Requests For Bids, and all related documents.
