What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Architect position at Planet Technology?
Direct Hire / Perm Role
Location - Lexington, MA - 4 days onsite
Data Architect / Sr. Manager - Enterprise and Commercial Analytics
- This person must have strong communication and business partnering skills. will be front facing with commercial clients
- Must be able to support a dynamic / fast moving client
- Must be able to roll with changes / update on the fly / comfortable with ambiguity
- will participate in stand up meetings 2x / weekly with commercial team
- This person will be THE contact for all data asks from clients
- Need solid hands on development and architect of datawarehouses, ETL, data integration, MDM ect.
- Should have architecture experience and be able to manager external data.
- Should be able to program python & SQL (a must) as this person will review work done by consultants
- Must have some ELT Tool : they use Matillion but not required (easy to use)
- Should have Snowflake / AWS (strongly preferred)
- Should have Tableau
- Jira is a plus
- All data asks within snowflake and matillion come through this person
- Future Projects :
- AI ( coming soon)
- Salesforce marketing activities
- Some infrastructure projects- ie : Matillion move from hosted to cloud
