Nearly 7.5 million consumers receive their benefits through the PlanSource platform, which provides flexible and intuitive software and services for benefits administration.


The Implementation Leader is pivotal in ensuring PlanSource exceeds client expectations by delivering exceptional support for our software and services. This role entails comprehensive ownership, planning, direction, and coordination of project activities. As a customer-facing position, the Implementation Leader manages the client project plan and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders from project kickoff through to a seamless transition to the ongoing delivery team.


Implementation Leaders will handle our most complex and high-level client interactions.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review project scope, objectives, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project plans, incorporating timelines, milestones, and notifications for additional resources as needed.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, swiftly addressing any issues and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain clear communication with both clients and internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain clear professional communication with all customer key decision makers.
  • Complete job-related training courses and/or seminars, as may be required for the job and/or assigned by Manager
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment through mentorship and effective respectful communication.
  • Helping to guide our junior team members.
  • Responsible for leading client meetings and providing guidance on best practices, as an implementation subject matter expert of the PlanSource system and health and welfare industry standards.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to strategize on process and product areas of improvement.
  • Identify, document, and oversee out-of-scope work, ensuring additional costs are tracked, documented, and communicated to all stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Provide regular project updates, the Implementation Leader is expected to be the client’s main point of contact for the duration of the implementation project.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Promote team communication and collaboration across channels and job functions.
  • Provide backup to team members as needed to avoid delays and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure all project information is accessible and up to date. Including SalesForce projects, Client and Project Health, EDI Cases, Action Item Logs, IMP SharePoint Site.
  • Develop solutions and make decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Serve as liaison with other departments within PlanSource for client/Broker companies as it relates to the implementation process.
  • Conduct project reviews, document lessons learned, and ensure all project deliverables are completed and approved.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a smooth transition to operations support team(s).
  • Consult and provide guidance on best practices to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consult, create, and maintain client benefit requirements
  • Assist in the sales process by offering expertise in PlanSource and health and welfare benefits to prospective clients.
  • This role will require travel for some presentations.
  • Possesses and maintains comprehensive benefits and benefit system knowledge.
  • Maintains HIPPA, PHI, and PII sensitivity, regularly participates and completes company-assigned compliance training.
  • All other duties as deemed necessary by management.


Necessary Strengths, Skills, and Competencies

  • 10 years of technical experience such as implementation project management, benefits administration implementation, or software configuration
  • Proven experience in project management and customer consultation.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of software and services implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge of benefits
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this hybrid role, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
  • This position operates in a hybrid office environment which may be noisy or disruptive at times.
  • The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
  • This is a full-time position with typical office hours and additional time as needed.
