PlanSource is seeking an EDI Project Coordinator to coordinate project activities and resources for assigned projects to ensure they are completed on-time. These projects may involve implementing a combination of software and services for an organization.
The EDI Project Coordinator is responsible for successfully completing projects and managing interactions between different internal departments, clients, and vendors to fulfill our contractual obligations. This role works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. The work performed in this role will directly impact the project team's productivity, effectiveness and overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Acts as a point of contact for the client during the project implementation
- Basic understanding of the Project Management methodology and the Implementation Process.
- Consistently exercises effective communication and follow through.
- Creates and maintain comprehensive project artifacts.
- Ensures all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope.
- Establishes and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
- Leads small scale projects with supervision.
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Monitors the project team, individual responsibilities, needed resources, and maintains the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Proactively and frequently reports project risks and status so adjustments can be made.
- Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
About You
Requiremen ts for the EDI Project Coordinator- Able to comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of project management methodology and processes
- Familiarity and hands on experience using SalesForce and MS products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with a customer service focus
- Seeks guidance from leadership or more experienced EDI Project Coordinators as needed.
- Willingly collaborates and shares knowledge with others.
- Works independently. Able to identify risks but seek guidance on Risk Mitigation from other EDI Project Coordinators.
