Purpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for leading the production team and enhancing productivity while overseeing all machinery and personnel, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient, high-quality production of goods.
Essential Duties May Include:
· Overseeing all equipment, personnel, and inventory within the facility
· Providing instruction, training, and performance feedback to associates in order to ensure their safety and success
· Assisting the team with hands-on manufacturing duties such as processing, setting a tool, maintenance, etc.
· Ensuring the efficient execution of schedules to meet customer requirements and production goals
· Leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize personnel, materials, and equipment resources
· Meeting budgets and goals (including on time delivery, quality, and efficiency)
· Reviewing processes to ensure superior quality and implementing necessary adjustments or corrective actions
Requirements:· Proven experience (10 years) in plastics injection molding (including processing)
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· Successful history of meeting production budgets and goals
· Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
· Be a team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability read, write, and communicate in English
· Prior knowledge of IQMS preferred
