**Job Overview**
As a Production Lead at Plastipak Holdings, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational performance excellence of your shift. You will be responsible for upholding policies and procedures within our safety-first and quality-oriented culture.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and ensure quality control checks and preventative maintenance are completed in conformance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure all standards are upheld during the shift, including GMP, ISO, SPC, quality, and safety.
- Monitor documentation and data entry for accuracy and compliance with processes and procedures.
- Facilitate scheduled work orders, ensuring customer requirements are met, including required materials to fulfill work orders.
- Provide on-the-job training to new associates on the line and with auxiliary equipment.
- Relieve Technicians for breaks and fill-in, as needed.
- Collaborate within and across the operation to drive continuous improvement.
**Requirements**
- Able to work the following shift: Night Shift 7pm-7am.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing production experience, with a preference for plastic manufacturing.
- Process-oriented, with a sound knowledge of SPC and Quality procedures.
- Knowledge of GMP and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader and role model.
- Experience using computer programs, such as SAP.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
