Business Development Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is hiring immediately for a Business Development Manager in their Data Center Sector- East Coast- a role that is critical in making sure customers get the electricity, heating, and cooling they need.
- Business development, lead generation for Data Center sector.
- Cold call, provide account management, presentation development, and close deals.
- Track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders.
- Sell equipment rental and services to Datacenter customers.
- Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan.
- Partner with the operations and logistics teams project execution and completement.
- Travel required up to 60% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- General understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and / or oil free air compressors.
- 7-10 years of direct business to business sales experience.
- Advanced Knowledge of targeted territory.
- Advanced Knowledge of the Data Center industry.
- Proficiency with a CRM (i.e., Salesforce).
- Partnership with other areas of the business (Ops, Fleet, Logistics).
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Required:
- Full sales cycle experience.
- Experience as a Sales Professional in B2B.
- Knowledge of construction and data center builds.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive experience developing new accounts, solution sales in a structured corp. setting.
- Preferred:
- Building and Construction Services.
- Power, Rental Generation.
- Large quota of booked business.
- Solutions selling value- not transactional.
