Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facility, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and welcoming for guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of housekeeping standards.
Schedule:
3 days a week as a houseman and/or housekeeper depending on the needs of the business. 2 nights a week as a laundry attendant, helping with guests, basic maintenance, and customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, following safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or items.
- Uphold housekeeping management practices to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Basic maintenance and customer service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and hospitality standards.
- Experience in custodial work or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care processes and equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality service.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus.
