Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular contractor safety evaluations to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze project submittals and RFIs to guarantee alignment with client specifications and best practices.
- Develop and update site documentation to reflect accurate as-built conditions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project progress.
- Communicate project status updates to internal stakeholders and provide critical insights.
- Foster open dialogue with city inspectors and contractors to resolve project-related issues.
- Oversee daily operations of on-site contractors, including scheduling, safety oversight, and liaison duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in construction management for utility, process, equipment, and facility projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, with exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to maintaining constructive relationships.
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour qualification is a significant advantage.
- Previous biotech/biopharmaceutical experience is highly sought after.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction activities, trades, and relevant building codes.
- General knowledge of pertinent building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection codes.
- Qualifications/training in construction management are a plus.
- Able to lift 25 lbs and navigate active construction sites.
- Exceptional oral/written communication skills.
