Event Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of assigned account to include logistical coordination of event-support elements including:
- Coordinate production and dissemination of event schematics and location for review and approval
- Oversee site surveys via Google earth or live review when possible
- Procure and deploy all necessary equipment rentals and vendors needed on an event-by-event basis
- Request and oversee any externally sourced temporary setup, labor or permits
- Reserve necessary lodging and transportation for field support teams, executives and/or clients
- Travel to events to oversee onsite operations and logistics
- While onsite, assist with event set up, activation and teardown
- Maintain event schedules and calendars
- Provide event details to those onsite executing
- Manage all supporting elements to ensure budget reconciliation is met
- Maintain consistent communication with client and manager regarding event-related updates and/or program challenges
- Manage and maintain all transport or display elements required for event set up, activation or teardown
Other areas of support include
- Support all aspects of client business with emphasis on superior customer service and attention to detail
- Support all account planning activities associated with the client’s programs
- Ensure relationships with client partners/agencies are managed to ensure success with clear focus on the ultimate goals of the program to reflect positively on PMG
- Ensure that program goals and events are delivered upon
- Provide clear understanding of how client’s strategies and tactics are devised to mesh with PMG services for successful programming
- Proactively stay abreast of industry trends
- Act as positive role model through example both internally and externally
- Contribute and collaborate on new business opportunities via qualifying new prospects, input on proposals and participation in pitch meetings
- Provide support across other departments and accounts within PMG
- Willingness to work outside of traditional hours if needed

- Developing and maintaining a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services and strategic communication plan
- Proactively communicating with clients on a daily basis in a professional, efficient manner
- Attending the needs of the client and continually seeking ways to add value to the client-agency relationships

Education
- Four-year degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field
- One-three years of experience in the field
