A Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for carrying out human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, worker’s compensation claims, FMLA, payroll timecard submission and assisting with other functions within the department. The HR Coordinator works closely with other members of the senior living community supporting the overall mission of the organization. They consult with the local Executive Director, Regional Human Resources Director or corporate Human Resources regarding policies, procedures and terminations. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, have knowledge of employment laws and have a collaborative working style, will show leadership among team members, and values the Community as the residents' home.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING:
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources or related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in human resources preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to learn HRIS systems is required.
- Certification in HR from SHRM or HCRI is preferred, but not required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year based on experience

- Monday to Friday mostly
