About our Production Coordinator:
As a Production Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the production team with logistics, organization, and ensuring projects run smoothly. This position requires someone with adaptability, attention to detail, and a passion for collaborating with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate loves a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on challenges, often requiring evening or weekend work.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate production schedules and ensure timelines are met across multiple projects.
- Support the production team with logistics, including organizing files and assets in Google Drive, managing communication in Slack, and assisting with content creation in Canva.
- Oversee the distribution of content to platforms such as Simple cast, Megaphone, Captivate.fm, YouTube, and other content management systems.
- Provide light editing support using tools like GarageBand, Descript, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Interface with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and clear communication.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Take ownership of coordinating office production needs, including scheduling, organization, and team support.
- Research trends and provide input to enhance production processes and storytelling techniques.
What you will bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Media Production, Broadcasting, Project Management, Film Studies, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in roles such as project management, production assistance, or event coordination.
- Strong adaptability and ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational excellence, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience with tools like Google Drive, Slack, Canva, and content distribution platforms (e.g., Simple cast, Megaphone).
- Familiarity with video and audio editing tools (GarageBand, Descript, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus but not required.
- Passion for collaborating with a team, taking initiative, and demonstrating leadership when needed.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by production schedules.
