Polsinelli is seeking an Infrastructure Messaging Engineer. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this role can be hired as remote or hybrid, provided the candidate is in a state/jurisdiction wherein we practice.
Position Overview
Responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s enterprise infrastructure systems and services, with a focus on endpoints, mobile devices, virtual application & desktop solutions, e-mail & messaging, and will also contribute management oversight and guidance to include data center operations, physical/virtual servers, directory services, networking, operational security, and disaster recovery. The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to approximately 5-7 staff positions including sysadmins, engineers, and senior engineers. This position is critical to ensuring that all systems are available for use 365x24x7; and must provide tracking the system uptime to ensure they meet the SLAs.
Key Requirements
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides oversight of the day-to-day activities and procedures required to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure to defined SLAs.
- Ensures all systems are monitored 365x24x7 with notifications to bring quick treatment of any issues and resolution.
- Leads planning, implementation, and maintains related to the strategic plan and ensuring a stable technical infrastructure supporting the company’s business processes.
- Manages IT operational security activities to ensure a secured environment built upon best practices.
- Manages IT disaster recovery activities to ensure all critical systems are operational in the event of a disaster.
- Continually researches new technologies and collaborates with other IT Managers and Directors in the strategic planning efforts.
- Drives and participates in communications between IT teams and departments with users and internal customers, and between technical services teams.
- Provides leadership to Technical Services Operations staff including project execution, hiring, terminations, training, professional development, and performance management.
- Employees approved for flexible work arrangements are expected to be available and maintain a practice of reliable, consistent attendance at all times during the employees scheduled work shift including, but not limited to, Teams/instant message, Zoom, email and voicemail, and by phone.
- Strives to define, evaluate, and facilitate the adoption of emergent technologies and process improvement initiatives.
- Prioritizes good stewardship of company resources via thorough analysis and optimization efforts
- Other duties as assigned.

- At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Management

The budgeted salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000.
