EHS Manager
Position Summary : Primary functions are planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring health, safety and environmental policies and programs to analyze and control conditions contributing to occupational and environmental hazards at Polyglass facilities in NV, PA, TX, FL and AZ.
This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and provides an interface with all departments as required for environmental, health, and safety policies, regulations, and programs. This position directs the activities of the Corporate EHS Specialist 100% of the time and Operations Coordinators for approximately 10% of their time. This position also involves very close liaison with, and support and coordination of, OSHA, EPA, and local, state, and federal guidelines and requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Promotes health, safety and environmental regulations by ensuring that Work Instructions (WI's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
- Develops, provides, and / or recommends safety programs and associated training such as but not limited to :

Requirements :
Location for this position will be within commutable distance to one of our primary facilities in TX, FL, PA or NV, with Waco, TX being the preferred location. Relocation will be provided if needed.
