About the Position
Pond is currently seeking an Associate Vice President to join our growing team of Energy Professionals. The ideal candidate possesses 20 years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will utilize knowledge in the industrial and energy industry to support clients in assessment and design of solutions for clients across the United States. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of studies and other services to help clients make decisions through engineering analysis, technical studies
- Oversee multidisciplinary engineering tasks for industrial and energy facility designs, including civil, electrical, and structural engineering for assigned projects. Work with project managers to lead the technical execution for projects.
- Conduct initial site assessments and support project construction and commissioning activities including visits to active construction sites to verify adherence to design standards.
- Review prime contracts, support proposals, and business development opportunities.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and complete.
- Mentor and train other employees on technical and business aspects of projects and the industry.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the energy industry.
- Effectively work on multiple projects at a time
- Travel to client offices and job sites as well as industry conferences
Qualifications:
- 20 Years of experience in related energy & industrial design services
- Ability to read and interpret general arrangement, P&IDs, detailed design drawings related to design and equipment specifications
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards and design software
- Experience with development, design, and construction support of facilities, energy & industrial projects.

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Associate Vice President with a salary range of $137,500.00 - $225,900.00 .
