The Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy at GATE Hospitality Group leads all marketing efforts for Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The Lodge & Club Ponte Vedra Beach, Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club, and The River Club. This role focuses on increasing brand alignment and visibility, driving revenue, and enhancing the member and guest experience.
This include strategic planning, creative leadership, and cross-department collaboration to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives. The Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy oversees print and digital advertising, public relations, social media strategies, website and app content, and the development of all marketing collateral. Additionally, they work closely with senior management, sales teams, and other departments to drive brand growth and engagement. This is an in office position.

Requirements
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check

- Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Media or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Marketing, with at least 3 years in high-end private club and luxury resort industry
- Knowledge of brand positioning, market segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content strategy
- Ability to conduct market research, interpret trends, and apply insights to marketing strategies.
- Competency in using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and survey platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for content creation and brand messaging.
- Understanding of marketing budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation and ability to manage marketing spend efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Awareness of the specific industry landscape, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate giving, social impact trends, nonprofit governance, and legal compliance for foundations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed strategic decisions.
- Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote resorts and clubs, ensuring brand alignment across all platforms.
- Agency & Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with advertising, public relations, and social media agencies, managing creative development, media buying, and PR initiatives.
- Digital & Social Media Oversight: Manage digital presence, including websites, social media, email marketing, and third-party listings, optimizing engagement and brand consistency.
- Advertising & Promotional Campaigns: Direct advertising efforts across print, digital, and social media, developing targeted campaigns to drive engagement and revenue growth.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities, integrating insights into marketing strategies.
- Revenue Support & Collaboration: Partner with revenue-generating departments (Golf, Tennis, Spa, Shops) to develop promotional initiatives and marketing materials that drive financial growth.
- Content & Communications Management: Oversee the creation of newsletters, email campaigns, and guest communications, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
- Event & Promotion Development: Develop and manage special promotions, seasonal events, and packages to increase bookings and guest engagement.
- Creative & Brand Management: Supervise logo design, signage, photography, videography, and all visual identity elements, ensuring brand standards are upheld.
- Internal Marketing Support: Manage internal requests, including dining menus, posters, flyers, activity sheets, executive presentations, and business collateral.
- Process Improvement & Performance Evaluation: Lead marketing process improvements, oversee staff performance evaluations, and ensure timely execution of marketing projects.
- Budget & Resource Allocation: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Strategy Officer and President, GHG.
