Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive local water/watershed management plans, incorporating input from stakeholders and experts.
- Collaborate with county officials, landowners, and other partners to achieve conservation goals.
- Analyze and interpret scientific and technical data, including financial reports and legal documents.
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including policymakers, landowners, and the general public.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in natural resources, soils, geology, agriculture, geography, planning, information systems, hydrology, public administration, environmental resource management, or related field.
- Knowledge of geology, geography, planning, wildlife ecology, wetland, and grassland management.
- Experience with design and installation of conservation practices or similar work.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex scientific and technical data.
