```Duties```
- Coordinate and schedule the movement of freight and transportation vehicles
- Utilize GPS and fleet management systems to track and monitor the location of vehicles
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Enter data into transportation management systems to maintain accurate records
- Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer orders and delivery schedules
- Communicate with drivers regarding any changes in delivery routes or schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all dispatching activities
-Negotiate with customers to obtain required rates
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in logistics or dispatching preferred
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems, including transportation management software
- Knowledge of freight operations and industry regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
