Poretta & Orr, Exhibits | Events aims to deliver unparalleled event experiences through dedication and expertise. Our team seeks a skilled Event & Housing Coordinator to oversee client convention housing needs and collaborate with internal teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills, be proficient in industry-standard software, and possess excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing client convention housing needs, ensuring timely communication and efficient processes.
  • Liaising with housing bureaus, hotels, and vendors to guarantee a smooth housing process.
  • Utilizing registration software to streamline event planning and management.
  • Crafting and managing registration portals to enhance the overall experience.
  • Monitoring room block usage, addressing any issues, and providing detailed reports on housing allocations.
  • Communicating with hotels regarding rooming lists, attrition, and specific requirements.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients, exhibitors, and attendees concerning housing needs.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or convention housing is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Microsoft Office and registration platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
