Job Summary
Responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the master production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing production efficiency, inventory levels, and resource utilization. This role collaborates closely with operations, supply chain, sales, and other departments to align production with customer demand and meet the company’s financial expectations.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Develop, adjust and maintain a detailed master production schedule based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory policies.
- Ensure production schedules align with capacity, material availability, and resource constraints.
- Identify scheduling conflicts, resource shortages, or bottlenecks.
- Monitor and communicate significant issues of delayed customer shipments, production problems, inventory shortages to management daily.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure materials and resources are available for scheduled production.
- Analyze work flow and sequence of operations to streamline operations and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Track and report scheduling performance and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce lead times.
- Ensure schedules comply with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support the planning department in ensuring a seamless release of work to the production floor.
- Identify new or possible hazards in the workplace and report them to your management
- Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices.
- Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field OR
- 3 years’ experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment (preferred) OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Passage of appropriate testing to advance in ABC certification program.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead.
- Must be able to see information on a computer monitor.
