Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure timely completion of production orders.
- Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory management systems to ensure materials are available for production.
- Implement demand planning strategies to align production output with customer requirements.
- Utilize SAP and MRP systems for effective scheduling and tracking of production activities.
- Communicate with supply chain partners to manage lead times and delivery schedules.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct regular reviews of scheduling processes and adjust as necessary to enhance efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in production scheduling or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and supply chain management.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.
