PDS is seeking a Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with maintenance experience who is committed to providing excellent service to the campus community. With experience, planning, and troubleshooting systems, they will have the ability and willingness to undertake and be responsible for a variety of tasks from maintaining the facility’s preventative maintenance program to collaborating with other contractors to ensure goals are met in a budget-consistent manner.

Responsibilities
- Completion and documentation of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly walk-through observations and maintenance checklists.
- Complete regular repairs; Maintain physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- With essential knowledge of HVAC system, monitor heating and cooling throughout the building and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure smooth running.
- Collaborate with school administrators, staff and on-campus tenants to manage and process work order requests; ensure problems are resolved quickly.
- Ability to analyze budgets and work within them to complete duties.
- Manage outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance contractors, including landscaping, pest control, and security, to ensure compliance; regularly review service quality and vendor contracts to ensure cost effectiveness and reliability.
- Draft and implement preventative maintenance schedules and budgets for building and equipment and maintain facility documentation.
- Manage regular inspections and ensure safety standards are followed throughout the facility.
- Facility support for school events when needed (hourly rate if outside regular hours); Ensure the facility preparation and set-up for events as needed.
- Oversee the security of the school premises including monitoring surveillance equipment; Facilities manager will be the main contact for security company
- Inspect buildings, mechanical rooms, equipment, and access points as deemed necessary.
- Collaborate on internal communications plans as they relate to operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Respond within a reasonable timeframe to emergency calls when not on duty (hourly rate outside regular hours).
