Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. Servicing the private luxury homes for our members of the Powder Haven Community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all Home systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on completing tasks efficiently and meeting high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all Home systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on completing tasks efficiently and meeting high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time and efficiently.
- Follow management direction and ensure tasks are completed within set deadlines.
- Prioritize work and follow procedures to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform routine and minor maintenance on all equipment regularly, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
- Have a customer service mindset.
- Maintain a “safety first” mindset, ensuring safety protocols are followed by all team members.
- Execute minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, fireplace, and painting repairs under the direction of leadership.
- Conduct property inspections with oversight to ensure quality and luxury standards are maintained.
- Clean and maintain hot tubs and pools as needed.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and notify the appropriate personnel.
- Use a personal phone for work-related tasks such as calls, photos, emails, and document checking.
- Basic computer skills needed for imputing work orders and communication.
- Demonstrate proficiency in maintenance skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, and HVAC.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including power tools, voltmeters, grinders, saws, snow blowers, lawn mowers, and hand tools.
- Report all major repairs and requisitions to management prior to expenditures.
- Work with vendors, contractors, and others to coordinate necessary repairs, deliveries, and maintenance.
- Work with home services, housekeeping, mountain operations.
- Adhere to company policies, state, and federal laws, including OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License (Motor Vehicle Record must be submitted) with no major violations.
- Availability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete them to supervisor standards.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to perform full range of body movements, including reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged standing, sitting, bending, and twisting.
- Ability to walk on even, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Ability to climb/descend stairs and ladders.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, grasping, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to shovel snow and perform tasks in various outdoor climates.
- Primarily indoor work environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, mechanical and electrical hazards, and cleaning chemicals.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor climate, with a variety of temperatures and weather conditions.
