What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Marketing Director position at Powder Mountain?
Powder is a year-round resort and real estate development project nestled throughout 10,000 acres in the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah. Recently acquired by Reed Hastings, the Founder and Executive Chairman at Netflix, our purpose is to spark wonder by creating a unique place that fuses mountain recreation, art, and meaningful connection. We're looking for big-hearted champions to join the team.
Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, the Senior Marketing Director at Powder will lead marketing efforts for Powder as an overarching parent brand, that includes real estate, ski resort, and the emerging art program. This role will focus on developing the overarching strategy, implementation, and management of Powder marketing's marketing and lead the charge from a brand development standpoint of evolving Powder from a local cult classic ski resort into a global second-home alpine community with a sophisticated art, architecture, and outdoor recreation program.
Responsibilities
Brand Positioning and Storytelling:
Strategize and nurture a compelling brand narrative that resonates across all target demographics: Powder Haven, Powder Mountain, and eventually our arts initiative.Integrated Marketing Strategies : Craft and implement the brand positioning into marketing strategies that leverage a mix of digital, email, social media, PR, and traditional marketing channels.Management & Leadership:
Oversee two senior managers across Real Estate and Ski Resort to ensure successful implementation and results.Asset and Creative Development:
Oversee Concepting, Creation, And Development Of Creative Marketing Assets Needed For Both Real Estate And Ski Hill Communications And Offerings Across Digital, Web, Social, PrintAgency Management Support
Serve as the key management and execution touch point with design, creative, and implementation partners and agencies as it relates to sales assetsInnovative Technology Integration : Embrace technologies to enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and improve marketing effectiveness.Community Engagemen t: Develop nuanced communication and marketing strategies that engage our local constituents and community, while also speak to a global audience for real estate.CRM Management:
Intermediate to expert experience with Hubspot or CRM contact management in building funnels, campaigns, and asset integrationsCore Goals:
Real Estate Growth : Drive real estate inquiry growth through lead submissions via web through creative, targeted acquisition strategies.Season Pass Growth : Grow season pass revenue through messaging, social, events, and on-mountain experiences. Compensation
