Key Responsibilities
- Support the Development team by maintaining precise donor and engagement records within our constituent relationship management (CRM) system, Altru.
- Analyze and report on gifts and donations, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate outreach to various organizations, particularly those in underrepresented communities, to enhance participation and awareness of our programs.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email initiatives, and special events.
- Ensure accurate processing of donations and timely acknowledgment to enhance donor relations.
- Collaborate with team members to support cultural and educational programs that foster community interaction.
- Proficient in CRM systems, with a strong preference for Altru or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated data management and analytical skills, capable of identifying trends and gaps in outreach.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, with a talent for managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse audiences.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with a CRM system is necessary, along with a minimum of 2 years in donor relations or community outreach.
- Experience in DEI initiatives is a plus, reflecting a commitment to fostering inclusive environments.
