Power Sales Group Inc. is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team. We are a manufacturer's representative firm specializing in sales of medium-voltage and high-voltage equipment to electric utilities, industrials, and specialized contractors in the Northeastern US.
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our inside sales team by ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This role is ideal for recent graduates or for those who are looking to pivot your career into a supportive, sales related, customer-focused role. You won’t be expected to make hard sales calls or meet quotas—our focus is on delivering outstanding service and building lasting relationships.
This is a position for someone interested in a long-term career opportunity in an office environment. Training will be hands-on as we believe the best way for you to learn is to dive right in. (With the help of our inside account managers, of course!) It’s extremely important the Sales Support Specialist asks questions, can take constructive feedback, and learn from their mistakes.
We are excited to announce that our company will be relocating to Southern New Hampshire in Q3 of 2025. As we work toward this transition, we are dedicated to finding the right team player to join us on this journey. For training purposes, the ideal candidate will be required to work onsite in our Danvers, MA location five days a week until fully trained. Once the training period is complete, the role will transition to a hybrid position in our new Southern New Hampshire location. We are looking for someone committed to learning, growing, and becoming an integral part of our team as we make this exciting move.
Sales Support Specialist Job Duties:
- Enter a heavy volume of orders, acknowledgements, documents, and invoices into Salesforce.com (CRM).
- Assist our inside account managers in the preparation of quotations, processing of orders, and handling customers issues via email and occasionally on the phone.
- Communicate with manufacturers to obtain information for order process completion.
- Understand the order process.
- Verify recorded information to ensure accuracy, completeness of data, and identifying potential issues.
- Manage and prioritize daily emails and tasks.
Sales Support Specialist Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Able to multi-task and proactively prioritize
- Acute attention to detail
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Aptitude for mastering new software applications, such as Salesforce.com
- Strong organizational skills
