Position: Logistics Technician
Department: Assembly
Direct Report To: Assembly Manager
PowerBuilt is a leading provider of turn-key material handling solutions, specializing in lift assist, conveyor systems, controls, automation, and pre-engineered equipment. Our clients include some of the largest automotive, appliance, aerospace, and heavy truck manufacturers across North America. As we continue to expand, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team and contribute to our ongoing growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving purchased components & internal fabrication
- Complete assembly packets prior to assembly
- Complete final drawing package prior to shipment
- Inventory management
- Preparation for shipments
- Outgoing freight coordination and scheduling
- Assembly of custom engineered tools (as needed) by utilizing:
- Assembly drawings
- E-drawings
- Maintain a clean work area/appearance
- Communicating any issues to the appropriate departments
- Professional cross-departmental communication
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge
- High school or equivalent education
- Reliable transportation to and from manufacturing facility
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel)
- General computer knowledge
- Provide your own hand tools (PowerBuilt provides all power tools needed)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent work ethic & time management
- Reliable team member
- Ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs
