Our new warehouse manager will supervise all production equipment leaving and returning from our warehouse in Cheshire Connecticut. While directing the warehouse staff, you will make sure all broken equipment gets repaired and our fleet stays in tiptop condition by coordinating repairs and regular service.

Production equipment is racked from floor to ceiling and our successful candidate will find a place for everything! You will be working side by side with some of the most experienced and talented people in the event industry in a fast-paced and fun environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include -

  • Supervise the hiring and training of all new warehouse staff
  • Supervise all warehouse staff including recognition of good work and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Supervise preparing equipment for outgoing events and receiving incoming crews
  • Collaborate with Technical Operations manager to make sure all trucks are loaded and unloaded safely, accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Supervise quality control and equipment check-in of all returning equipment
  • Collaborate with the Technical Operations Manager to confirm availability and serviceability of all equipment assigned for contracted events
  • Supervise inventory management, upkeep and repairs
  • Supervise vehicle detailing, maintenance and service
  • Identify areas of improvement and efficiency for company and its staff and assist with the development of policies and procedures to implement
  • Conduct meetings with staff as needed
  • Research products, vendors, pricing and availability and make recommendations for purchase

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma - College degree preferred
  • Experience in warehouse operations such as inventory maintenance, shipping and receiving, and managing repairs of equipment and vehicles.
  • Experience in the event production field preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to drive company vehicles
  • Strong communication and computer skills

  • Ability to learn the company database program (EMS) and working knowledge of other computer programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills for phone and face-to-face contact with diverse clients and subcontractors
  • Strong sensitivity to time and resource efficiencies without compromising quality and accuracy

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
