Accounts Payable Specialist

Role Purpose:

Integral Shared Service Center (SSC) Accounts Payable team member to ensure invoices are accurately reconciled through the three way match process and resolve discrepancies on a timely manner to mitigate delinquent payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process invoices and statements by mail, email or via fax
• Ensure invoices meet the three way match criteria before payment is processed
• Accurately sort, code and match invoices
• Responsible for investigating and verifying accuracy of invoice data to mitigate variances
• Responsible for investigating complaints by vendors and correct errors in accounts in a timely manner
• Maintain close relationship with Shared Service Site to resolve discrepancies and process timely payments based on plant requirements 
• Prepare and disburse vendor payments by check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain vendor files and invoices
• Assist local site Controller with monthly payment forecast and meet targets
• Assist with month end closing process as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent related course and/or three years of related experience
• Knowledge of Three-Way-Match and ability to resolve discrepancies 
• Ability to problem solve and excel in a team environment (Shared Service Center)
• Strong communication skills and ability to organize and prioritize
• Competent in computer software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
