Assembly Technician (Part Marker)

The basic function of the to perform part marking operations on machined components for aerospace industry. You need to knowledgeable of all areas Blue Print Reading, specifications, and AS9100 QMS protocols. You need to be detailed oriented, highly organized, creative, flexible and a great team player. To be knowledgeable of all aspects of piece marking and the requirements of all of our customers.

Education and/or Experience

• A preferred minimum of three years experience of on the job training.
• A basic understanding of all specifications related to piece marking.

Responsibilities:

Part Mark Responsibilities

• Mark identifying information on parts, using, CNC laser, etching devices, labels, rubber stamps, or other methods.
• Set up parts using part marking software (CNC Laser and Dot Peen)
• Layout locations for parts marking using software, using jigs, templates, or measuring and marking instruments.

Assist with Assembly Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts to form subassemblies.
• Verify dimensions of assemblies or positions of components, using measuring instruments (Calipers, micrometer, etc).
• Cleaning aircraft parts solvent cleaning products or techniques to reduce

Part Mark Capabilities:

• CNC Laser - Universal Laser Systems using CorelDRAW Software and UCP Software
• Marking Methods Electro Etch Part Marking
• Telesis Pin Stamp TMP3200 using Merlin III Software
• Rubber Stamps with Various Inks and Coatings.
