Job Description
This role is responsible for recruiting for PQ’s US and Canadian sites and takes direction from corporate HR to ensure PQ’s Talent Acquisition practices are maintained.
- Screen candidate resumes and job applications; conduct prescreening interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates for open roles.
- Facilitate PQ’s recruiting vendor relationships, including but not limited to, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and agencies providing and completing updates with hiring managers.
- Execute the job offer process including negotiation, administration; extend offers of employment or decline candidates within company protocols.
- Facilitate pre-employment background checks, drug testing and any other required screenings with third party vendor.
- Update ATS, ADP, Sharepoint, Excel and other records related to recruiting.
- Prioritize when presented with a long list of ‘top priority’ situations.
- Comply with company policies.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum 5 years of experience in recruiting, or a High School Diploma or Associates degree, and a equivalent relevant combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Recruiting preferably in manufacturing
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
- ADP Workforce Now experience, particularly running reports
- Applicant Tracking Software software experience helpful
- Use of Microsoft Teams and/or 8x8 phone app, and/or other phone skills
- Experience working with and maintaining sensitive and confidential information
- Positive attitude, strong interviewing skills and candidate advocacy
- Union experience helpful

Additional Information
Special Factors
- This role is a 2-3 month contract to cover an employee's LOA
- Work hours are typically Monday – Friday, 8 am - 5pm, or as needed to accomplish business objectives.
- Role is based on site in Malvern 5 days/week.
