Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including shop maintenance, material delivery, and general handyman tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and handyman services, with the physical capability to handle heavy lifting and a proactive approach to task management.
Responsibilities:
- Shop Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and organization of the shop for approximately 2 hours per week to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Material Delivery: Manage the delivery of materials to job sites, dedicating approximately 15 hours per week to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Shop Management: Allocate about 4 hours per week to organizing shop inventory
- Returns Management: Handle the return of unused or defective materials, dedicating approximately 2 hours per week to this task.
- Handyman Services: Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:
- Moving appliances
- Moving Lumber
- Taking photos of job sites
- Storm door installation
- Replacing light bulbs
- Fixing faucet drips
- Installing signs
- Cleaning job sites
- Physical Tasks: Assist with lifting and moving heavy objects as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Most commonly delivering and unloading bags on concrete.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance and handyman roles, with a diverse skill set in general repairs and installations.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
