What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to provide engaging and focused support in ELA or Math for students in grades 3-5
- Work as push-in support, assisting teachers during lessons and working directly with small groups or individual students
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet students' varying academic needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Duration: February 25, 2025 – April 10, 2025 (excluding holidays and school conferences)
- Key Date Off: March 6 (Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences)
- Experience: Prior experience tutoring or teaching elementary school ELA or Math
- Subject Proficiency: Strong knowledge of elementary-level ELA or Math concepts
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers and students
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to connect effectively with diverse audiences
- Passion: A commitment to educational equity and social justice for minority and low-income students
- Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
