Resident Companion
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to serve as a companion for our residents. This role focuses on providing emotional support, companionship, and assistance with daily activities to enhance the quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in meaningful conversations and active listening
- Participate in recreational activities such as games, walks, or hobbies
- Offer a supportive and empathetic presence to alleviate loneliness or anxiety
- Encourage social interaction and maintain a positive, respectful relationship
- Assist with mobility and ensure a safe environment to prevent falls or accidents
- Notify Directors or nursing staff of any health or behavioral changes
Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving or working with the elderly preferred
- Patience, empathy, and a caring nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable and dependable
