What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpentry Laborer - Trainee position at Precise Construction LLC?
We are looking to hire a hard-working, dedicated individual to start as a Carpentry Laborer/Trainee. This is a unique opportunity to work for a small yet busy General Contractor business which focuses on home renovations and additions, new home construction, garage and pole barn builds, deck builds, maintenance and snow removal. We are busy all year long! You will start off as a laborer if you do not have previous carpentry experience. While working along side our carpentry foremen, you can expect to gain the necessary skills to become a carpenter. Must be able to lift heavy materials/objects and comfortable with heights. Must have a driver's license and car. An initial phone interview will be conducted by our Office Manager. If then considered for the position, an in-person interview with the owner will be scheduled. Prior carpentry experience for general laborer/carpentry trainee position is not required but of course welcome. Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 am daily. Availability for snow removal is required for carpentry trainee/laborer positions. We prefer the candidate to live in or around Waukesha County as much of our work takes place in the county. Candidates must live in southeastern Wisconsin as an in-person interview is required prior to hiring. Candidates must be able to work outside in the winter and summer. Candidate must be a hard worker. Your starting wage is determined by your CARPENTRY related experience and your work ethic. Hard work is definitely rewarded.
