Job Summary
As a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- creating insurance applications and policies
- advising potential clients on coverage
- issuing quotes, and converting them into new policies.
- resolve billing issues,
- change policies, and make policy recommendations.
- follow up customers on coverage renewals
- answering incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
- verify new customers’ coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
- keep track of and follow up on all customer inquiries
Job requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years’ Commercial Insurance Experience (P&C license is a plus)
- Adequate technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
- Organized, structured, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.36 - $20.66 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
Salary : $19 - $21
