Thermal Spray Operator
Aviation Welding Technologies is a recognized leader in the Repair and Overhaul of Turbine Engine Components. We are seeking motivated candidates for this position which involves set up and operation of dual wire arc and robotic spray booths. Plasma Spray experience is a plus but not required.
Job Duties:
· Preparation of components by cleaning, masking and blasting.
· Measure completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
· Use OEM and/or proprietary prints to ensure proper process completion.
· Use pre-established guidelines / Shop Travelers to perform the functions of the job.
· As required, fabricate or modify fixtures for masking or spray process.
Qualifications:
· Must be Highly Motivated individual
· Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
· Must be able to read, write and understand English
· Must be available to work Fulltime, M-F, Hours ranging from 7– 4:30
· Must pass FAA/DOT Pre-Employment drug test and background screen, also subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
