Summary:
The Inventory Control Coordinator/Cabinet Process Coordinator is responsible for ordering, installing, performing the inventory cycle count processes, verifying all inventory in the facility is properly stored and in sellable condition. Also receives and verifies all incoming freight via truck and rail car. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.

Summary:
The Inventory Control Coordinator/Cabinet Process Coordinator is responsible for ordering, installing, performing the inventory cycle count processes, verifying all inventory in the facility is properly stored and in sellable condition. Also receives and verifies all incoming freight via truck and rail car. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversees cabinet installers.
- Orders cabinets through company portal.
- Receives inventory as per assigned PO and vendor paperwork.
- Loads all cabinets into delivery trailer.
- Oversees placement at proper job sites minimizing damage.
- Installs cabinets in the field.
- Maintains and is responsible for all tools required to perform tasks.
- Performs scheduled inventory cycle counts.
- Works with Production and warehouse staff to complete cycle counts daily, weekly, quarterly, and monthly.
- Works closely with Office Manager to ensure cycle counts are correct and verified.
- Ensures all inventory items are stored properly and in sellable condition.
- Documents customer returns for credit.
- Verifies all incoming freight against the original purchase order.
- Receives all incoming inventory in computer and creates stock receipts.
- Picks up material as needed from suppliers locally for plant use.
- Manages cabinet process from ordering to delivery, to punch list and inventory control.
- Maintains a clean driving record.
- Fills in and operates lifts as needed.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager and General Manager within the scope of the role
- Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction.
- Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work.
- Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Communicates effectively with team members.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in building materials related industry.
- Knowledge of inventory systems.
- Able to run a yearly inventory count as directed by the Office Manager and General Manager.
- Good team work ethic.
