Job Summary: Electrical Supervisor

The Electrical Supervisor oversees the electrical maintenance and operations for both surface and underground facilities. This role involves managing electricians and other staff to ensure the integrity of electrical systems, including PLC systems, hoists, and conveyors. Key responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance activities, evaluating equipment conditions, and reporting on production and maintenance issues to upper management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct maintenance planning and execution while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assess facility equipment and recommend major maintenance schedules.
• Review and approve reports prepared by subordinates.
• Monitor budget performance and manage electrical projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of industrial supervision experience; at least 1 year in maintenance supervision.
• High Voltage electrical experience (power transformer, boxes, cables etc)
• Strong electrical controls and troubleshooting experience, including PLC programming.
• Preferred certifications: Journeyman/Master Electrician or Electrical Engineering degree.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and high-voltage distribution.

Work Environment:

• Ability to work in group settings and adapt to various outdoor conditions.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in underground environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
