Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated dental practice in Ocala to find a Dental Treatment Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology and at least 2 years experience as a dental assistant. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality.
Schedule:
Monday, Tues, Thursday: 8a-5p
Wednesday & Friday: 7a-4p
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Presents and coordinates treatment plans with a level of professionalism and expertise
- Assist with dental procedures by preparing instruments and materials as needed.
- Perform basic medical imaging tasks, including X-rays and 3D scanning.
- Monitor and record vital signs when necessary.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide support in various areas of dentistry, including pediatrics, general dentistry, and prosthodontics.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
Experience
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Must have previous front office/treatment presentation experience
