As the Manager of Physical Security Programs, you’ll be a part of Premera’s Real Estate & Facilities team within Employee Experience and serve as Premera’s SME in Physical Security operations, equipment, and technology. You and your team will manage the organization-wide physical security program for all owned and leased locations, and you thrive in balancing priorities and multiple workstreams. You’ll have the opportunity to support campus renewal construction projects, maintain and support the advancement of enterprise compliance frameworks (HITRUST, SOC, etc), and ensure our campuses are safe and inviting for employees to do their best work. Join us as Premera’s Physical Security leader where you’ll have the autonomy to manage, develop, and grow. This is an on-site position for Premera's Mountlake Terrace, WA campus. What you’ll do: Lead the development, maintenance, and growth of Premera's physical security systems, processes, and operations using compliance requirements and industry best practices Manage and be accountable for a budget along with the physical security contracts and relationships from end to end. This includes Security technology, equipment, and vendor guard forces Be accountable, hold others accountable - Hold contracted partners accountable, support through SLAs and auditing Lead Real Estate & Facilities enterprise compliance (HITRUST, SOC, etc) scope to maintain and advance the program through guidance creation, execution, and auditing to support certification requirements Ensure that all findings from assessments, tests, and audits are documented, and timely effective corrective action are taken Manage the development, execution, and improvement of Premera’s Physical Security guidance and standards Develop, maintain, and be accountable for the execution of the physical security safety & security budget Lead the development and growth of meaningful metrics; set key performance measures and analyze data from an enterprise, division, facility, and vendor level. Design, develop, and implement solid metrics that shows the value of security Lead the development, execution, and improvement of Premera’s Physical Security Awareness training program Serve as the physical security incident manager and act as the initial escalation for incident response Manage internal investigations of physical security violations and report out findings Partner closely with Human Resources (HR) to develop and maintain processes and assist in investigations and sensitive tasks Stay current with new physical security technology and equipment to enhance Premera’s physical security if warranted Lead the physical security scope of the Campus Renewal construction project and partner with the team to support, execute, and commission Manage assigned team, including employees, contingent staff, or other workers Partner closely with appropriate divisions across organization including Business Continuity, Safety and Emergency Management on physical security related matters Develop and maintain contacts with law enforcement agencies What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in security, investigations, security operations management, security programs, or related field (Required) 5 years of experience working with physical security technologies and vendors (Required) 3 years of experience managing people (Required) Experience overseeing contracts and managing physical security sub-contractors that provide guard services and integration of security technologies Experience in physical security design Up to date knowledge and familiarity with physical security best practices Proven ability in building and fostering strong positive working relationships in an organization and influence leaders Demonstrated working knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention and Response, Emergency Response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity You have strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Your internal customers are your top priority. The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience. National Plus Salary Range: $93,500.00 - $159,000.00 *National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
